Sections
The student union’s social activities are divided among several sections, each with its own specific focus. Every section contributes a piece of the puzzle that, together, makes student life in Kista unique.
Insparken
Insparken is responsible for giving new students a warm welcome to student life each year.
We do this by organising activities, competitions, parties and other fun events for DSV’s new students at the beginning of the semester. Insparken is a fantastic opportunity to get to know your classmates!
Insparken is run by our beloved Staben with the help of Drivare volunteers. During the first two weeks of the autumn semester, we offer plenty of games and activities to break the ice between new and returning students.
Sportsektionen
The Sports Section aims to give students, primarily DISK members, the opportunity to participate in a variety of enjoyable activities.
We organise climbing and badminton every week. Football, bowling, table tennis and an annual skiing trip to Åre are also among the section’s activities.
Särimners Kultingar
SK organises a wide variety of gaming-related events. Some form of game night takes place in Foo Bar every Tuesday, and every other Monday, the subsection Krigsvinen organises a tabletop role-playing event.
SK also organises a LAN party and a Game Jam every semester, as well as larger events such as Dungeons & Dragons sessions, Magic: The Gathering drafts and tournaments. SK exists to ensure that DISK’s members have as much fun as possible during their studies.
Musikaliska & estetiska Sektionen
MES organizes a wide variety of creative events where students have the opportunity to express themselves both musically and artistically. We also host movie and craft nights, dance workshops, and we have our very own MES band, which is always looking for new members!
MES also performs and entertains at many of DISK's fantastic parties, and, in collaboration with KM, hosts karaoke nights and quiz nights.

Näringslivssektionen
NärS serves as a bridge between students and the business community. We work with exciting companies that are interested in meeting students at DSV.
We also help students establish valuable professional connections for their future careers. NärS organises the annual career fair, Systemvetardagen.
