DISK Workshop
DISK Workshop provides general tutoring by students, for students. DISK Workshop is open to all DSV students, regardless of course or programme, so do not hesitate to ask for help when you need it!
When?
During periods of high demand, the workshop is sometimes extended until 18:00 so that more students can receive help.
How?
Attend in person or via Zoom: Our tutors are available in Foo Bar, but you can also receive tutoring remotely via Zoom. Regardless of which option you choose, you must join the queue through the tutoring system. In the “Location” field, enter either your Zoom Meeting ID or where you are seated in NOD.
Getting started with Zoom: If you do not already have Zoom installed or need help creating a meeting, you can follow Stockholm University’s guide to using Zoom in an educational setting.
Follow these steps:
- Create a Zoom meeting. Copy your Meeting ID, not the meeting link, and make sure that the meeting is not password-protected.
- Join the queue.
Go to
handledning.dsv.su.se
and enter your Meeting ID in the “Location” field. You can also add a short comment explaining what you need help with. Meeting ID i fältet ”Plats”. Du kan även skriva en kort kommentar om vad du vill ha hjälp med. - Wait for the tutor. When it is your turn, a tutor will join your Zoom meeting directly.
